Rough Day for Democrats: Federal Court Okays Trump’s Wall, and Wait Till You See Who Judge Was

President Trump promised the American people on the campaign trail he was going to finally do something about the out of control immigration problems in this country.

One of the many solutions he brought to the table was to build a wall. There’s no doubt that move will significantly help to slow down illegal immigration and help prevent drugs coming into this country.

Sadly, Democrats in Congress have absolutely no interest in doing either of those things so they have been fighting Trump at every turn when it comes to the wall.

On Tuesday, Trump received a major victory on the wall front.

From Washington Times:

A federal court cleared the way Tuesday for President Trump to build his border wall, ruling the administration has the power to waive a series of environmental laws to speed up construction.

The state of California and environmental groups had been counting on the lawsuit to derail the border wall, and the judge’s ruling to the contrary is a major boost to Mr. Trump.

“It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices,” he wrote in a 101-page ruling.

What makes this ruling even more interesting is that the judge who made it was the same judge that Trump accused of being biased during the 2016 campaign.

From Fox News:

Had Curiel ruled against Trump, he could have undermined the construction of barriers on unfenced portions of the border.

The Trump administration was sued back in September as part of its effort to block any construction of the border wall.

Curiel is the federal judge who then-candidate Donald Trump once accused of being biased against him – due to Curiel’s Mexican ancestry – during the campaign.

Curiel, whose parents emigrated from Mexico, was attacked by Trump in 2016. Trump said the judge held “tremendous hostility” against him in a lawsuit involving Trump University because of Curiel’s Mexican descent.

Obviously, this doesn’t have anything to do with the Trump University case and this judge could still very well be biased. It seems like most federal judges are these days.

However, Curiel made the right move here and he didn’t let any bias cloud his judgment.

This wall is getting built. One way or another.

We recently learned that Trump is going to check up on the prototypes soon.

From Roll Call:

President Donald Trump will travel to California next month on a cross-country trek that will include a visit to eight prototypes for his proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall, a White House official confirmed Tuesday.

The Trump administration has formally asked Congress for $18 billion in wall funding.

The president’s immigration overhaul framework proposed a trust fund totaling $25 billion that would include the wall construction monies and be allotted in one lump sum — but as part of a broader immigration deal that has so far eluded lawmakers and the White House.

There’s no rational argument against a wall. Walls work. All the experts who have any idea what they are talking about will tell you that.

Democrats don’t care about immigrants. They don’t care about DACA “children”. They care about votes. That’s it. Gotta love how Trump seems to be sticking to his guns on this. It’s why the American people made him president.
